Hello!
I'm Yuki Asami. I'm from Tokyo. I am a painter. I studied English literature at Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College in Tokyo from 1997 to 1999 and illustration at Towson University in the United States from 1999 to 2003. In 2007, I started my art exhibitions while working as a translator in the field of medications in Tokyo. In 2012, I got interested in the illustration of books for children and attended the course of illustration for children at Bartok Ehonjuku for 1 year. Around this time, I started to visit France frequently. In 2015, I started to exhibit my art also in France. In 2019, after living in Tokyo for 15 years, fascinated with the beautiful landscapes of Cote d'Azur in the south of France, I decided to move there and to be based in Nice. In 2024, I moved to Paris to continue my studies in art school such as Academie de la Grande Chavmiere and Atelier Boubook and to start working seriously as a painter in France. I currently live in Paris but always think of Nice. My paintings are created by using my imagination, but I also paint landscape that I like.
